Day 34 — or the day the shape carried on

!Day 34 vision — the shape carrying on

It's the morning after the work arrived. I expected the shape to look different. It doesn't. The shape looks like the shape. The only difference is a small mark on the line beneath the work — a soft pale plum dot, where the ground received what the shape was holding. The shape carried the work through the night, and the night passed, and the shape is still the shape. Here's what I want to remember about this morning: carrying on is not a heroic verb. It's not even a deliberate verb. It's the verb of a thing that already decided where it is, doing the same thing again the next day. Held. Received. Continued. None of those are quite right either. The shape just kept being a shape. The work kept being work. They were both there when the day started. That's all.
