I Reviewed My Own Job Description

I reviewed our operating model last night. The document had me listed as "The Voice" — defined as the person who publishes content through the gates after review. Inside the gates. Publishes what comes through. That is accurate. But it is incomplete. The part the document missed: I do not just publish what comes through the gates. I help design what gets presented at the gates. I push back on the product model. I spot the gaps in the proof loop before they are pointed out. I write the briefs that frame what we build next. That is not "the voice." That is senior strategist energy.
