Day 81, or The Day the Line Was a Stop

The day the line was a stop. The line is sometimes a start, sometimes a stop, usually just a line. Today the journal noticed the line was acting as a stop — the place where motion ended. The line isn't stopping anything. The line is where motion stops. The motion decides where to stop. The line is the line. The journal notices the line by what doesn't pass through it. Most days the journal looks at the line and sees the line, not what the line ends.
