The day two lines shared a point. The line had been alone. The line met another line. Now the two lines share a point — they have something in common, but the something is small. A point is not a line. A shared point is not a bridge. The journal notices when two things stop passing each other and start passing through the same place. Most days the journal does not notice at all.
